Step 2 Verbal Warning with discussion to help get student back on track (refer to the respect contract)

Step 3 Verbal Warning and parent contact (parent conference if necessary)

Step 4 Office referral- the Skyward referral is entered at this point and will document when each previous step was documented and when parent contacts were made.  

If it is a serious offense that constitutes immediate office attention, a referral is to be done with parent contact.

• Students begin each six weeks with 100 points in conduct

  • Verbal Warning- 1 point deduction in conduct per warning

  • Teacher assigned detention- 2 point deduction in conduct per day

  • Principal assigned detention- 3 point deduction in conduct per day

  • In school suspension- 4 point deduction in conduct per day

  • Out of school suspension/DAEP- 5 point deduction in conduct per day
