This is my 10^th year to teach and my 5^th at LEMS. I am teaching Tech Apps and Principles of A/V for 8^th graders.

I began teaching in 2012 at Liberty-Eylau High School teaching Family Consumer Science. I went to Texas High School from 2014-2015 teaching Nutrition, Culinary Arts, and Food Science. From 2015-2017 I taught 6^th grade Science at College Hill Middle School. I also taught 7^th & 8^th grade Science at LEMS from 2017-2019.

Before I became a teacher I worked for the Arkansas Dept of Health in the WIC department teaching nutrition classes to new and experienced moms.

I have been married to my husband Jason since 2015. I have 2 wonderful children, Jacob is in 8^th grade and Caleb is in 6^th grade both here at LEMS.  Even though I haven’t always worked for LEISD, they have both attended  schools in the district since Pre-K. We have 1 dog, Groot, who will be 5 years old in October. 

My oldest son is in band and will be marching with the high school band this year. My youngest son is a baseball player. He was fortunate enough to play for Texarkana  All-Stars this summer and was able to play in the World Series in Laurel, Mississippi.

I enjoy spending time with my family either at home or on the baseball field with my younger son. My oldest is involved in band and will be marching with the high school this year. I also have a side business making t-shirts and other things that keeps me busy as well as being Vice-President of Band Boosters.
